Hi, hi-five and hug from MUCTG

First of all, hi and a warm welcome back to Uni! It will be another exciting year for CTG with our new plays and members. The producers are really thankful with all the help and effort from our fellow CTG-ians to promote our theatre group during Orientation Day 1 & 2, especially under the glaring hot sun! Keep up the spirit and let’s enjoy ourselves for the upcoming Cantonese play: “The Importance of Being Vulgar.”

And, we would also like to welcome the new members to our “I Love CTG” avenue. To those who have applied for positions in the Admin and/or Production team, we will be contacting you soon : )
Meanwhile, just enjoy the special discounts entitled with our membership card, proudly brought to you by supporting sponsors.

Another round of applause to our Semester 1 (2009) Production Team and Directing Team, who will be making “The Importance of Being Vulgar” play another success of CTG.

What's the play about?

首個「從文化、邏輯、道德和語言結構 多角度來分析、DEPROGRAMME粗口」的舞台劇!!

《搵食男女》的名字：《EAT, MONEY, MAN, WOMAN AND THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING VULGAR》中的EAT(食)、MONEY(金錢)、AND VULGAR(粗俗、下流)，正好反映香港人的精神特徵，就是拜金、短視、投機、蠱惑、虛偽，還有犬儒、認命、消極、迷信。劇中笑料直接抄襲或改編自香港現實生活的人與事: 全港各大商場、卡拉OK、健身室、大學、茶餐廳、教員室、大排檔、網吧、酒店大堂、地鐵車廂及月台、辦公室、火車、巴士、渡輪、圖書館、出入境要塞.

為求達到快、真、激三大效果, 《嘰哩咕嚕 搵食男女》 忠於現實的精神將內容原汁原味搬上舞台，從香港人的衣食住行、悲歡離合、甜酸苦辣、生老病死的種種狀態中，挖苦社會荒誕現象，笑人又笑自己！

Who is this year's Director?

This year's CTG Director Felix Ching Ching Ho has been on the student art and theatre scene for many years, touching on many facets of student theatre including sound design, set design, lighting, production management, stage management and also producing an original play.
