Hi CTG babies,

Hope you're all well as we enter our 3rd week of uni! So I guess you guys can tell by the name, it's that time of the year where we hold our biannual...
PRE-PRODUCTION LUNCH GATHERING! YAYYYYY!
So this year we decided that it'll be at Birrarung Marr, which is that area right behind Federation Square, alongside the Yarra River.
It'll be great for all the previous CTG-ians to catch up and for the new members to get to know more people as well. Especially since the production is about to start, it'll be awesome possum for y'all to come chilllllllll, meet the committee, leaders and other group members, have a bite and just hang around and have some fun!
Not in this semester's production? No problemo, anybody's welcome to join. Tag along with your friends or come and meet others! Just sign up at the CTG table!

Just a few reminders:
Fee: $5 per person
Dresscode: Casual (no heels or mini skirts please!!!)
Venue: Birrarung marr; we'll be meeting at Fed Square in case some of you are wondering how to get there

七個完全沒有時空連接卻又環環相扣的人物與故事，一同遊走於生命迷宮。

這是有關生與死的故事：一個走上自毀之路的運動員、一個患有精神分裂的演員和他的其他性格、一個追尋丈夫秘密的太太、一個墮進自己所創造的陷阱的女作家，以及一個昏迷多時的病人，他們各自活在自己的時空，卻又同時闖進了別人的世界。他們穿梭往來，各自尋找、發現，就像胎兒在出生之前必先要旋轉 270 度才可離開母體一様。

人生總是要兜兜轉轉、尋尋覓覓始能走過生和死……

Rotate 270° is a collection of seven stories which have no connection in time or space but are tightly interwoven as the characters travel together in the labyrinth of life.

This is a story about life and death, depicting a self-destructive athlete, a schizophrenic actor, an award-winning yet depressed female writer, and a comatose patient. They each live in their own time and space but simultaneously invade the worlds of the others. They traverse back and forth searching and discovering, just like the obligatory 270˚ rotation that a fetus must perform before leaving the womb.

Life’s endless cycles and searches are the origin of the understanding of life and death.

This website may not have seen a lot of updates lately. But we are still up and kicking, and a facelift of this blog is already underway. For the impatient, here is a sneak peek of what is coming up soon:

• Pre-production lunch (PPL) on 28 Mar 2010: Our fun and creative activity officers are preparing the long awaited pre-production lunch. Stay tuned for updates from us!
• MUOSS Night Market on 25 Mar 2010: We are going to participate in the MUOSS Night Market. Come and support us on 25 Mar 2010 6pm-10pm in Concrete Lawn!

CTG will be setting up its food stall during FON, an annual multicultural event organize by Melbourne University Overseas Students Society (MUOSS).

Come down to CTG stall and taste some of China traditional snacks.

Date: 1st & 2nd September (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Time: 12:00pm-3:00pm

Location: North Court @ Union House, Melbourne University

Support us at our very own CTG 'Old Mama' food stall. This year, we will be delighting you with Fried Carrot Cake, delicious home made Curry Puff, and traditional Beehive Cookies. As for beverages, we will be preparing thirst-quenching Honeydew Sago with Coconut Milk and Soybean Milk.

CTG latest 2009 mandarin production

Thanks to all that have participated and made our annual Winter Camp event another success to add into the diary of CTG. Hope everyone enjoyed the 3 days 2 nights of fun and laughter at Adanac Camp at Yarra Junction, organized by our lovely Activity Officers and their fellow camp committees.

A big round of applause to the CTG Winter Camp 2009 Camp Committee. They did a marvelous job in planning all the activities and games for us.

Adanac Camp was the perfect place for us to spend away our winter holidays together in a peaceful environment surrounded by beautiful green sceneries.
